Visit the Queensland Government’s Hospital Rescue Plan website for the latest New Coomera Hospital updates, including project progress, key milestones and construction activity.
The New Coomera Hospital is a key part of the Queensland Government's Hospital Rescue Plan and will provide expanded healthcare services for the rapidly growing northern Gold Coast community.
The project will deliver at least 600 overnight beds across two stages and provide expanded emergency, intensive care, maternity, paediatric, mental health, outpatient and specialist healthcare services closer to home.
Designed to support one of Queensland's fastest-growing regions, the future hospital campus will include contemporary healthcare facilities, improved connections to surrounding transport infrastructure, a multi-storey car park and capacity for future expansion.
The hospital is being planned in partnership with Health Infrastructure Queensland, with clinicians, consumers and operational stakeholders continuing to help shape the future hospital through ongoing consultation and design development.
Once complete, the New Coomera Hospital will improve access to healthcare closer to home while supporting the future health needs of the northern Gold Coast for generations to come
We are committed to keeping our site neighbours, community and stakeholders up to date on project progress, milestones and construction updates.
