Child and Family Health Service works in partnership with families to support the health, development and wellbeing of children from birth to school age. We work alongside families to build strong, positive relationships and help them feel confident, connected and supported.
Our services are provided free of charge and may be delivered in the family home, community child health clinics, local early years centres, or via telehealth where appropriate.
Our experienced team of child and family health nurses, social workers and psychologists work alongside families to provide evidence-based support tailored to their individual needs. We collaborate closely with healthcare providers, early childhood services and community organisations to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and families.
If you or your child identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, you also have the option of connecting with our First Nations service, Waijungbah Jarjums. We are committed to providing culturally safe, high-quality care and work closely with Waijungbah Jarjums to support children and families.
The Child and Family Health Service is co-located with the Child Development Service at several Gold Coast Health sites, making it easier for families to access a range of services and supports in one location.
