COVID-19 Change to visiting patients and hospital access at GCUH

To slow the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and to protect the most vulnerable, restrictions apply when visiting hospitals. Find out more about visiting a patient in hospital.

Access to Gold Coast University Hospital (GCUH) has been restricted to ensure hand hygiene and screening is well managed.

Please access the Gold Coast University Hospital via:

  • Level 1 link bridge from carpark
  • Ground Floor main entrance
  • Emergency Department
  • Transit Lounge

Parking

We have a commercial multi-storey parking facility with more than 2,200 under-cover car parks open 24 hours a day.

The parking facility is owned and operated by Secure Parking. Information about parking can be found on the Secure Parking website.

Additional parking and options to access the hospital include:

  • short term parking bays
  • emergency vehicle bays
  • set down areas.

Short term parking

A number of short term permit only parking spaces have been allocated adjacent to Block C. This offers improved convenience for those picking up patients leaving the hospital via the Transfer Unit.

Concessional Parking

Gold Coast Health offers concessional parking for eligible patients and primary carers.
