Amy Greenhalgh is just one of Gold Coast Health’s many everyday life changers.
The oncology social worker was recently credited for turning around the life of a family facing major health, financial and social issues.
A mother diagnosed with breast cancer said that Ms Greenhalgh went above and beyond to help her family:
"She literally changed our lives, assisting us to get financial assistance and social housing - made even more challenging because my son, 19, is autistic," the patient wrote.
Ms Greenhalgh, who is based at Gold Coast University Hospital, said the feedback in our latest patient satisfaction survey was career-affirming and one of the reasons she loved her work.
Gold Coast Health regularly conducts patient experience surveys as part of the organisation’s commitment to improving patient care.
